Note: We highly recommend you give a good read to the entirety of the rules section below, as it differs quite a bit from the usual AniClash affairs. Also, keep in mind that we will be gauging the community for feedback after the tournament has ended to see what you all do and do not enjoy about the format. We aim to adjust accordingly to find a solution that works for everyone in the event issue is taken with the current formula.

The stream will be located on our Official Twitch Channel. Make sure you follow it and subscribe to our Official Website to stay up to date with all the latest AniClash news and happenings!

Current Cash Prize Pool - $40. Will increase over the course of the week, so keep an eye out for updates.

  • Each Prize Pool event will take place over 2 separate phases: a multi-rotation Round Robin phase, and a standard Double Elimination bracket phase.

#1 - Round Robin Phase

  • In the Round Robin phase, matches will be Best of 1 sets with the game within each set requiring 3 rounds won to claim victory. This is for the sake of expediting the time it takes to go through each rotation and allowing each player to play multiple times over the course of the phase.
  • The bracket will be shuffled before the beginning of the first rotation and at the onset of every rotation after for ensuring dynamism and variety in the suite of opponents for each player.
  • No players are eliminated during the Round Robin Phase. Rather, the phase exists to determine seeding for the Double Elimination bracket phase. As per usual seeding rules, when the DE bracket phase arrives the players who won the most matches throughout the RR phase will be matched up against those who won the least. Those who won similar amounts of times in the RR phase will be facing off against one another in the DE phase.
  • While the amount of bracket rotations we go through during the RR phase is dependent on the size of the player pool, it is estimated that approximately that 3 rotations is the general minimum that we'll be able to complete. In the event the player pool is noticeably less than the cap, more rotations will likely be possible.

#2 - Double Elimination Phase

  • Save for the aforementioned seeding that will determine each player's bracket placement, the Double Elimination phase will operate much in the same way as standard AniClash tournaments.
  • Each match will a Best of 3 set with each game within each set being a Best of 3 rounds as usual, save for finals which will be Best of 5 sets with each game therein being Best of 3 rounds.
  • Depending on the size of the overall bracket, much of the Loser's Bracket and potentially some of the earlier Winner's Bracket matches may be omitted from the stream for the sake of time.
  • The top 2 placers in the event will both be receiving a cash prize relative to the size of the prize pool and their respective placings.

#3 - General Rules

  • Unlike our standard AniClash events, all prize pool tournaments will permit North American entrants only. We apologize for the inconvenience and dissatisfaction this may cause our international community members, but with players putting money on the line to enter these events we must do all we can to ensure the highest possible connection quality.
  • Accepted Stage Selections: The new and improved Lessons / Coliseum - Silent - / Altar / Cathedral - Silent - / Old Gate. Note that Ishana - Silent - is no longer an accepted stage for AniClash tournament play. If you select the wrong stage, you will be given a warning once, then an automatic loss of one game.
  • Match loss due to an inadequate network connection is up to the discretion of the TOs on hand.
  • Only the loser of the previous game in a set is allowed to switch characters before the next game in that set.
  • The Round Robin bracket is not final until after 8:10 PM EST
  • Attendance and punctuality is a necessity throughout the night. You have approximately 2-3 minutes to be present for your matches when they arrive, or your match will be skipped over and saved till the end of that particular round of the tournament. If you are still not present by the time your match comes around again, you will either sent to loser's or DQ'd. Keeping a keen eye on the chat--where the matchups will be posted--and listening to the stream--where they'll be announced--is strongly encouraged to avoid such penalties. We are being more lenient with this particular situation due to the investment of the player in the tournament, but we do ask that you still make every effort you can to be present and accounted for.
  • Dualboxing on the same PSN account and PS3/4 is not tolerated. One player per console. A disqualification will be issued if this rule is not adhered to.
